About

I have been practicing yoga for over 25 years. Taking training in Aerial, Yin, Restorative and Yoga Nidra. I don't follow a particular style, I draw on what I feel are the best aspects of each lineage and the latest science.

 

My approach to yoga is one that honors the need for individual self-study -- no matter who is teaching, it's your practice. I love to help first-time yogis kick off their yoga journeys and make room for more practiced yogis to go deeper. My classes are a slow flow with an emphasis on alignment and a steady connection to the breath. Our goal is to build strength, balance, awareness, and calm.

 

I believe EVERYONE should be practicing yoga, and it doesn't need to be complicated. I do my best to make sure my classes are accessible, with as many props as we need to make the pose fit the body.

 

Modern life is hard on the body. The systems of the body are intimately interconnected. An achy back could be caused by tight hamstrings, tuned-out glutes, overactive hip flexors, or all of the above.  Then there's the stress, and stress is eating us alive.

 

Unraveling what's happening in your body takes time to explore, understand, and work to resolve.  But taking care of the body is worth the investment!

$125 Monthly / $15 Drop-in

$100 for Sundays Only

Classes are held at Bill Steven's Karate, Interstate, Ramsey

and via Zoom. Register below:

You only need to register once to use that series of classes.

The session price covers all the classes for the month.

Hohokus Yoga on Fridays & Sunday

Kids Yoga (ages 7+) Friday 4:00 PM 

Yoga, meditation, and breathing made fun with visualizations, animal poses, and occasionally anatomy lessons with "Betty Bones."

​

Adult Vinyasa Friday 5:00 PM

​

Gentle Flow and Restore Sunday 7:00 PM

Restful practice that finishes with meditation. 

Something to keep warm is recommended.
